Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, actually. Which apparently are socially and hygienically more like beetles than cockroaches but have an unfortunately genetic similarities that saddles them with an off-putting moniker.
Apparently no one else is willing to take them home for Spring break, so DuckyBoy is delighted to babysit these class pets from the other 1st grade Nest class.
We're all looking forward to it... ulp...

NO.WAY.IN.HECK would I allow cockroaches of any type to come home for vacation.
We did bring home a hatching chick one time. We had a baby chick in our closet for a night. But that's my limit.
Umm, what do they eat? I've always said NO to any type of weasel(read ferret) but never really had to deal with the insect issue. SisNan
